About the author
My name is Joshua Hwang. I’ve been described as the kind of guy that enjoys learning in his spare time. I argue with people about how to pluralize words. (Clitorides?!)
I believe that references to LOLCats and physics make good pillow talk. (”I haz U.” and “Let me fire up my particle accelerator and I’ll discover your Higgs Boson.”)
I write and speak for the 90 Seconds to Culture blog/podcast/videocast whose goal is to help all of us feel and become smarter by learning about culturally important topics: history, science, economics and more.
I am a recent graduate from Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario, Canada) with a Bachelors Degree in Science. Ah, and my major was Life Sciences (like anatomy, physiology, things like that), I have (ironically) renamed it Fun Sci.
With nearly a decade’s worth of private tutoring experience and a love for every field, 90 Seconds to Culture is the perfect chance to share this knowledge.
Although I’ve been blogging for a loooooong time, this is my first foray into podcasting. The first podcasts are a little dull, but they get better as I loosen up. Feel free to drop me any questions, suggestions, or just fan mail through this online form or at the following email address:
