I consider myself a very skeptical person, but I am even more so, when it comes to science—since that is my background.
Sometimes one of my friends will say something they heard in the news about a discovery, and I get this instant twinge of pain (and nausea). Sometimes I can’t quite say why, but the scientific claim reeks of falsehood.

And a scientist named Pons? I’d be inclined to believe anything he claimed to discover, with that name.

Numbers 2 and 5 are my favourites. This rings as true for 9/11 conspiracy theorists as for alternative medicine.
Oh man, I’ve been hearing so many people talk about 9/11 conspiracies this year. I don’t know why. More this year than in 2001 or 2002. It must be in the stars…
